Rozy Assistant — RozyLabs · Effective date: February 27, 2026

1. Introduction

RozyLabs ("we", "us", "our") operates the Rozy Assistant application ("App"), a voice-powered kiosk assistant designed to help visitors navigate venues, find stores, and get useful information through natural Turkish-language conversation.

This Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes, how it is used, and how it is protected. The App is deployed on kiosk devices in public venues; end users interact anonymously without creating personal accounts.

2. Data We Collect and Process

2.1 Voice Input and Transcription — When a visitor speaks to the kiosk, the App captures audio through the device microphone and processes it using Android's built-in speech recognition service (which may use on-device processing or Google's cloud-based speech-to-text). The resulting text transcription is sent to a large language model (LLM) provider to generate a response. Audio data used for real-time speech recognition is processed ephemerally and is not stored by the App.

2.2 Audio Recordings (Future Capability) — In future versions, the App may upload audio recordings to our servers for speech recognition quality analytics and improvement. If enabled, audio recordings will be processed in accordance with this policy and will not be linked to any personally identifiable information.

2.3 Text Queries — Transcribed text from voice input is sent to OpenRouter, our LLM provider, to generate conversational responses. These queries do not contain personal identifiers. OpenRouter processes queries in accordance with their own privacy policy.

2.4 Session Analytics — We collect anonymized session-level analytics via Supabase, including: session start and end timestamps, number of queries per session, response times and performance metrics, and device identifier and venue name (for kiosk management, not linked to individuals).

2.5 Crash Reports and Diagnostics — The App uses Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Performance Monitoring to collect: crash reports and non-fatal error logs, performance traces and network request metrics, device information (model, OS version, available memory), and device identifiers for kiosk identification purposes.

2.6 Microphone Access — The App requires microphone permission to function as a voice assistant. The microphone is active only when the App is listening for user input. Audio is processed in real time for speech-to-text conversion and is not recorded or stored unless the future audio upload feature (Section 2.2) is enabled.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use data to: provide the service by processing voice queries and generating responses; improve the App by analyzing session analytics and crash reports to fix bugs and improve performance; manage kiosks by identifying and monitoring kiosk devices across venues using device identifiers; and in the future, enhance speech recognition by analyzing audio recordings to improve accuracy (if enabled).

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following service providers, solely for the purposes described above: Google (Android Speech Recognition) for audio processed for speech-to-text; OpenRouter for text queries processed for LLM response generation; Firebase (Google) for crash reports, analytics events, and performance data; and Supabase for session analytics and kiosk metadata.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data to third parties. We do not use data for advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention

Session analytics are retained for operational purposes and may be deleted periodically. Crash reports are retained in Firebase according to Google's standard retention policies. Audio data used for real-time speech recognition is not retained by the App.

6. Data Security

All data transmitted between the App and external services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. The App enforces HTTPS-only network communication. No sensitive credentials are bundled in the application binary.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. It operates as a general-purpose kiosk in public venues and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights

Since the App does not collect personal user accounts or personally identifiable information, there is no user-specific data to access, modify, or delete. If you have questions or concerns about data processed by a specific kiosk, you may contact us at the address below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
